Greetings, Everyone!
Welcome to Hangman's Tree Entertainment's
website page! I am founder, Gerard Christian Zacher. I also produce, direct, write, cast, design, and of course, my first
love, perform for both theater and film. I have also founded Thimble-Kiss Creations - a free-lance art business. My theater
division, Second Star Productions, has already put on stage productions and performed on regular weekly radio in Chicago and
Las Vegas. After taking a break to help my father recover from a stroke, I have permanantly relocated here to Southern California,
where I have always wanted to settle, and decided to also permanantly set up shop here. Soon, we will back in business! Theater
and radio, and art once again, of course, but this time we will also strive to branch out into film and literature as well.
This will all take place over the course of this next year as soon as I am finished with all: the theater, novelization,
and film versions of my first full-length script - romantic comedy.
I am also writing an "Airplane" /
"Naked Gun" - type spoof on certain world-famous vacation places. In addition, I am currently writing a more adult, in-depth adaption
of a classic, children's fable - much like what Tim Burton had done with "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow".
And, last, but
certainly not least, I have written a series of short, bizarre, comedy skits - not too unlike Monty Python's "The Meaning
of Life". Other inspirations include "The Carol Burnett Show", "Laugh-In", "SNL", "SCTV", "Kids In The Hall", "Mad TV",
And "The Jackie Gleason Show". In fact, I am looking for others who can both act, and write in a similiar fashion. I am hoping
they will write skits that they, too, can contribute to the pot for us to perform. My goal in this arena is to put
together a comedy troupe that I have already named, "Boys Who Won't Grow Up", bring back that Monty Python-like comedy with
a modern, American twist. I would like to aim for a regular such show on Comedy Central as well as a couple of no-plot / all
skit films - just to be different in today's times!
While we are gearing up for business, above
